Poster...

This is the final poster for our digi-pack production...

To get this image, we took a series of images for the digi-pack all in the same location (also for the video), making an obvious link through all the media we produced for the artist. We thought this image really portrayed the emotion and genre of the soul. It represents “Cincere” as perhaps being a cool, collected artist, with a good fashion sense and smooth persona. The body language of the artist (a leg leaning on the tree) portrays him as being laid back and “cool”. This laid-back feel and image of the artist appearing to be in “deep thought”, also portrays the genre and R&B we found was connected to emotions, relationships and also smoothness, which is what we believe this image portrays. After studying other tour posters, we found that having the dates displayed on the image would be a good idea in informing and attracting the audience. All of the font we use, is the same as we used on the digi-pack to portray the “Cincere” image. We thought this could help distinguish and connect to our artist perhaps like branding ie. We would continually use this font in other promotional media. We new the name was important, this is why we put his name in the biggest possible font, underlined and bold in the middle of the image, in white to stand out. We also wanted to add some colour to the image, using a coloured box to put the dates of the tour in, which is attractive to the eye. We knew that the contact details of the ticket seller was crucial, which is why we put the information at the bottom of the image. We think this is a very successful and attractive promotional poster.
